P.3 Afternoon Session - Reading Fun English

On 12th January, 2026, our Primary 3 students enjoyed an engaging storytelling session featuring The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson. The delightful tale follows a tiny snail who sets off on an adventurous journey around the world on the tail of a humpback whale. When the whale becomes stranded in a bay, the kind-hearted villagers come together to rescue it — all while the loyal little snail stays by its friend’s side.

Throughout the session, students were fully immersed in the joy of reading. They actively interacted with the storyteller and took part in a fun pair activity that challenged them to “overcome obstacles” together. Through this experience, our young readers learned about the power of friendship, courage, and teamwork in overcoming difficulties.
